Kids Table

November 18th, 2008

wedding kids tableSo, our latest project has been the Kids Table – to help occupy the little ones during the reception. We’ll have some snacks (animal crackers, pretzel sticks and Goldfish) along with some coloring books, puzzles… and a surprise! I made sure not to have any small pieces at this table and put their safety first. This surprise is something we may all enjoy!

Another great way to entertain kids is to play a cartoon DVD in a back room.  I’m not sure I’ll be able to pull that off in time, but it’s a great idea! Hopefully the kids at our reception will kick off the dancing and get the adults out there on their feet! No empty dance floor at this reception!

Feel free to share any other ideas for a Kids Table, as I have a few brides-to-be following my blog looking for ideas for their own wedding. Thanks!

One idea is to have paper on the table, instead of a table cloth, and then they can color on the table. Like at the Macaroni Grill.

Yeah, I thought about that too. I think you can buy paper table cloths at Factory Card outlet.

This is too cute!! When i read about a room in the back…….I thought of some uncles who might enjoy watching the Elder state game. if they win this weekend, they will play for the state title on Sat. Nove., 29th: I’ve heard some say maybe Alex should move the date of the wedding.i said “NO Way!” Maybe they could go to the kid’s room and watch there!!!!!Just Kidding guys. Bonni

Oh no!! Elder Game! I didn’t even think of that!…It’s okay. My brothers made it loud and clear I couldn’t have the wedding on the Saturday of the Ohio State / Michigan game. Seriously! That was the first thing they said when they heard I might do a fall wedding! (It’s feeling more like a winter wedding…bring your coats!)
