Indeed, grandma Catherine did live a happy life. She had many challenges in life, including her husbands' passing at a young age, leaving her 6 children to raise. But the perseverance and good humor abounded in that household. Dad's brothers and sister, to this day, have a wonderful sense of humor that they share with their family and friends.
