Reception hall is booked!
Yes! After months and months of research and driving our friends and family batty, we finally selected a reception hall. If you haven’t already heard, the reception will be held at the Sharonville Convention Center on the northern side of Cincinnati, near I-75 and I-275. My parents were able to come down yesterday for my birthday lunch and check out the facility. We had our food tasting last week and the catering is provided by VPC Food Service.
Everyone seems to be pleased with our decision and we look forward to a wonderful event. More information is listed under the RECEPTION navigational button listed above.

We chose “our colors”
The colors for the wedding will be black, white and subtle accents of red. The bridesmaid dresses will be black and the girls will carry a beautiful bouquet of red flowers. These colors will not only tie in nicely with the fall but all the holiday season right around the corner. Now, if I can only figure out how to change the colors on this blog to match our theme.
Through the years - A Decade in Review
I still need to add photos from 1998 - 2000 but you get the gist.
Those were the “pre-digital camera” days.

Yes, we passed the church FOCUS test with flying colors! We scored extremely high in all categories (especially Communication, Personality Match, Religion, Family Values and Life Style Expectations).
My favorite opened ended question on the test was: “What might be a reason someone would give for us to wait before we marry?” and both of us basically responded with a similar answer…that after dating 9 years, we couldn’t honestly think of any reason for us to wait any longer.
Too funny.
